Marrakech Named 3rd Most Welcoming City Globally by Conde Nast Traveller

Marrakech ranks 3rd in the top 10 most welcoming cities in the world. This is the result of the new ranking by the American magazine Conde Nast Traveller.
Marrakech has been named the third "most welcoming" city by The Conde Nast Traveller. The American magazine describes the ochre city as one of the most accessible cities, benefiting from a "blend of traditional" and modern lifestyles, a gateway to Africa and the Arab world, which has gained a "recent reputation for being a hub for the diasporic art world in Africa". In addition to the Yves Saint-Laurent Museum, art-loving visitors to the Moroccan city can "stop by the Al Maaden Museum of Contemporary African Art to sample some of the best modern African art," the magazine said.
Kralendijk, the capital of the Dutch Caribbean island of Bonaire, tops the ranking of the ten most welcoming cities in the world. It is followed by San Miguel de Allende (Mexico), Bangkok, Lisbon, Dublin and Copenhagen. Istanbul, Singapore and Edinburgh round out the ranking.
