French ARTE Journalist Arrested at Moroccan Airport for Hashish Possession

On May 8, a French journalist from the ARTE channel was arrested at Essaouira airport as she had hashish in her possession.
According to the Barlamane.com website, her name would be Gaelle P., 36 years old, and she would work as an editor at the ARTE channel. In her luggage, the police found a small quantity of hashish.
Five grams of hashish were thus discovered in her luggage, specifies the same source. It should be noted that the journalist, who has also worked in the past for other media, including Canal +, was heading for Paris airport.
Gaelle P. would have come to Morocco on April 23, via Marrakech airport. The site explains that she was handed over to the judicial police in order to complete the investigation and the other necessary procedures in such circumstances.
