France Sees 3.6% Increase in Visas Issued to Moroccans in 2019

France issued a total of 346,032 visas to Moroccans in 2019 compared to 334,019 in 2018, an increase of 12,013 visas.
In 2019, France issued 3,534,996 visas compared to 3,572,326 in 2018, a decrease of 1%, according to the provisional statistics of the Directorate General of Foreigners in France of the Ministry of the Interior. Morocco (346,032) ranks third on the list of countries to which France issued the most visas in 2019, behind China (757,500) and Russia (486,706). Moroccans obtained 346,032 visas in 2019 compared to 334,019 in 2018, an increase of 12,013 visas.
Contrary to Moroccans who obtained more visas in 2019, Algerians and Tunisians obtained fewer. Thus, the number of visas granted to Algerians went from 297,110 to 274,421 in 2019, from 154,011 in 2018 to 145,846 for Tunisians.
