Instead, the executive wishes to establish a simple examination logic directly linked to the facility where the practitioner already works. This change will require the adoption of new legislation. As part of their final evaluation after a two-year internship period, the government also intends to give greater weight to the opinions of department heads who supervise these professionals daily. Health authorities also plan to resolve the administrative situation of doctors practicing a specialty not listed on their original diploma. Considered valuable for maintaining healthcare access across the territory, these hospital reinforcements had already benefited from a first regularization phase between 2019 and 2023.
