Former Morocco Star Medhi Benatia Joins beIN Sports as World Cup Analyst

During the World Cup in Qatar (November 20-December 18), former Moroccan international Medhi Benatia will intervene on beIN Sports France as a consultant. An exercise he is familiar with, as he had analyzed the journey of the Moroccan team during the last Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) in Cameroon.
As the broadcaster of all 64 matches of the World Cup, 36 of which are exclusive, beIN Sports is further strengthening its setup. The channel has once again chosen the former Bayern Munich defender to dissect the matches of the Atlas Lions.
Housed in Group F, Walid Regragui’s men will have to face Belgium, Croatia and Canada in the first phase. While persistent rumors announced him in an assistant position alongside the Moroccan coach, Benatia joins the cast of consultants for the Qatari channel.
To recall, Benatia decided to end his professional career in October 2019, shortly after his international retirement.
