Former Morocco Coach Halilhodžić Linked to Al Ahly Managerial Role

Barely fired by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), former Atlas Lions coach Vahid Halilhodžić is of interest to the leaders of the Cairo club, Al Ahly.
The Franco-Bosnian coach Vahid Halilhodžić to replace Portuguese Ricardo Soares as head coach of the Al Ahly club? The now former coach of the Moroccan national team is said to have received an offer from the club’s management, according to Le360. They are dissatisfied with coach Ricardo Soares’ performance and plan to fire him.
Appointed after the dismissal of South African coach Pitso Mosimane, who failed to deliver the victory to the club in the 2022 CAF Champions League final, the Portuguese has so far not proven up to the challenge. Al Ahly is on the verge of losing the title for the second consecutive season.
