Morocco Football Federation Reveals Halilhodzic’s Severance Pay: Three Months’ Salary

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has responded to the many speculations about the amount of the severance pay of the former coach of the Atlas Lions, Vahid Halilhodzic. The Franco-Bosnian coach would have received only the equivalent of three months’ salary, knowing that he earns 800,000 DH per month.
While "imaginary sums" are circulating in public opinion, the Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) published a denial this Saturday, providing details about the financial amount received by the former coach of the national team, after his dismissal.
The FRMF press release states that according to the signed contract, Halilhodzic received the equivalent of these three months’ salary as stipulated in his contract signed with the FRMF. The former coach’s monthly salary does not exceed 800,000 dirhams as previously announced during his presentation to the press.
More precisely, by multiplying this amount by three, the person concerned received approximately 230,116 euros for his dismissal according to the FRMF, which added that "the separation between the two parties was amicable."
