Former Moroccan Soccer Star Moncef El Haddaoui Dies at 59

Moncef El Haddaoui, former glory of Moroccan football, passed away on Monday at the age of 59, according to an announcement made by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) which also shared its condolences through an official press release.
The former player had defended the national colors during the 1980s. His professional career had also led him to play for AS Salé and TAS Casablanca, not to mention his stint with the Portuguese club Académica.
In its press release, the FRMF, through the voice of its president Fouzi Lekjaa and on behalf of the administrative office, expressed its "sincere condolences to the family members of the late Moroccan international, the late Moncef El Haddaoui, to all his family and loved ones, as well as to the football family."
