Former Dutch Star Urges Ziyech to Leave Chelsea for More Playing Time

A former Dutch international believes that the Chelsea star Hakim Ziyech needs to leave the English club for another, where he can freely express his talent.
"Players like Hakim Ziyech don’t like the benches." These words are from Van der Vaart, the former Dutch international trained at Ajax Amsterdam, the former club of the Moroccan international. According to him, it is vital for the Chelsea star to join a club where he can play more often and play with less pressure, as it seems he is facing too much competition at Stamford Bridge.
"I hope he’ll go to a club where he can just play and worry about nothing else. Ziyech is a boy who always has to play when you sign him," Van der Vaart told Ziggo Sports. When you recruit players, you buy them not only for their football qualities, but also for their personality."
Arrived from Ajax in the summer of 2020 as part of an initial 35 million euro contract, Hakim Ziyech has failed to establish himself at Stamford Bridge. He has, in 44 appearances, scored 8 goals and provided six assists last season.
