Chelsea Fans Outraged by Ziyech's Poor Performance in Champions League Defeat

Nothing is going well between the Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech and the Chelsea fans. The player has been harshly criticized and labeled as "arrogant" due to his poor performance in the match that pitted the Blues against Dinamo Zagreb.

Chelsea lost Tuesday to Dinamo Zagreb (0-1). But the defeat of the Blues will not be the hardest thing for the club’s supporters to bear. They are starting to no longer tolerate the misconduct, let alone the repeated poor performances of the Moroccan striker Hakim Ziyech. On Twitter, they expressed their bitterness and anger, noting that the player’s performance is the "worst in the club’s history", reports The Daily Mail.

Not only did Hakim Ziyech sadly distinguish himself on the bench as if he could do better than his teammates on the pitch, but when he was given the chance in the second half to replace Cesar Azpilicueta, he was unable to live up to the hopes placed in him. So many missed opportunities by the player to the great displeasure of the supporters who pointed out that "the 29-year-old player was useless and largely ineffective for much of the second half". For Chelsea fans, this is "one of the worst performances by a Blues player".

Many Internet users have highlighted his "arrogance", others have put him on the list of the club’s least performing players. Some have even compared him to Tiemoue Bakayoko, who received two yellow cards in 30 minutes against Watford in 2018. "Congratulations Hakim Ziyech. You have taken the prize from Bakayoko against Watford for the worst cameo in the club’s history," wrote another.

If the Moroccan player still had a chance to have a season at Chelsea, he has just mortgaged it after a "disastrous performance". Some supporters no longer even want Thomas Tuchel to line him up for another club match, until he finds another destination. "Ziyech should not be allowed to return to the training ground. The most arrogant big head I’ve ever seen."
