Former Bodyguard of Morocco’s King Hassan II Targeted in Violent Attack

Mohamed Mediouri, the former bodyguard of King Hassan II, filed a complaint against four individuals for car theft and attack on his personal driver with a firearm, during the Friday prayer. He mentioned an "assassination attempt".
The four assailants used firearms to attack and assault Mediouri’s personal driver, before confiscating the car keys and disappearing into thin air. According to Al Massae, the scene took place during the Friday prayer in front of the astonishment and dismay of the witnesses present.
The judicial police immediately launched a large-scale search operation to find the assailants, while an investigation was opened to determine the circumstances of this case. The driver was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The investigation will certainly determine whether it was an "assassination attempt" or if there is another motive behind this planned attack. According to the statements of the person concerned, he miraculously escaped this Hollywood-style attack.
