Former Belgian Soccer Star Marouane Fellaini Involved in Brussels Nightclub Brawl

The Belgian police are investigating a fight involving former Belgian international of Moroccan origin, Marouane Fellaini, as well as one of his brothers.
Marouane Fellaini, currently in Belgium after the end of the season in the Chinese championship, one of his brothers and two other individuals are involved in a fight that took place in the night from Friday to Saturday in a restaurant/nightclub in Brussels, reports the Flemish media Het Nieuwsblad. Called, the police intervened shortly before 1 a.m. in this establishment near the Avenue Louise. "As soon as the police arrived on the scene, the parties separated," explains spokeswoman Ilse Van de Keere.
Questioned by the investigators, the four protagonists gave divergent versions. The police are conducting a more thorough investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the fight and the responsibility of each one. "All available camera images will be viewed, so that we know exactly what happened," says Ilse Van de Keere.
