Two Foreign Tourists Victims of a Snatching in Marrakech

Elements of the Tourist Police Brigade of Marrakech managed a nice catch this week, arresting an individual suspected of snatching. The operation took place in the Sidi Youb neighborhood, in the heart of the medina, a few minutes after an assault on two foreign tourists.
The two victims were walking peacefully when they were approached by two individuals on a motorcycle. One of them snatched their handbags, containing two mobile phones, before fleeing, reports Kech24.
Alerted, the Tourist Police Brigade immediately launched an intervention. Thanks to the responsiveness of the agents and the precise description of the suspects provided by the victims, one of the thieves was apprehended in record time. His accomplice, on the other hand, managed to vanish into the alleys of the medina.
The alleged thief was taken to the police station for questioning. The investigation continues in order to identify and arrest the second individual involved in this case.
