EU Foreign Policy Chief Meets King Mohammed VI to Bolster Morocco-EU Partnership

King Mohammed VI received on Thursday at the Royal Palace in Rabat the representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Vice-President of the European Commission, Federica Mogherini.
This working visit aims to strengthen the strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Morocco and the European Union, according to a statement from the Royal Cabinet.
"During the talks, the Vice-President underlined the European Union’s deep attachment to the partnership with Morocco, as well as the pioneering role of the Kingdom, in the Mediterranean, North Africa, Africa, and the Middle East, in addressing the challenges of security, stability and development," the Royal Cabinet said.
"The recent adoption by the European Parliament of the Morocco-EU Agricultural Agreement underscores that any strengthening of the partnership must go through respect for the Kingdom’s higher interests and the preservation of its territorial integrity," it added.
