Football Legends Gather in Morocco for Green March Anniversary Celebration

The Cheikh Mohamed Laghdaf Complex in Laâyoune will host the events as part of the 44th anniversary of the Green March on November 6, with the welcome of a range of personalities from the world of football.
The public will be able to see the Cameroonian international, Samuel Eto’o, former striker of Barça and Inter, clubs with which he won the Champions League. But also the Portuguese Luis Figo, former player of FC Barcelona, Real Madrid and Inter Milan.
El-Hadji Diouf and Khalilou Fadiga, both former Senegalese internationals, will also be there. Similarly, the organizing committee announces the arrival of several stars of South American football, including the Colombians René Higuita and Carlos Valderrama, the Argentines Javier Saviola and Ayala, not to mention the Brazilian Rivaldo.
However, David Beckham and Ronaldinho, two other football phenomena, will not be there, contrary to the rumor that had circulated and announced their arrival, clarifies a source close to the organizing committee.
