Fez Police Arrest Serial Insurance Fraudster for Staging Fake Car Accidents

The police services of Fez succeeded in arresting an individual accused of defrauding insurance companies by declaring false traffic accidents. A wanted notice had been issued against the accused.
Another case of declaring false traffic accidents. The defendant, a man known to the justice system and with a well-filled criminal record, was the subject of a nationwide wanted notice for the same reasons, reports Al Massae.
Pending his appearance before the court, he was subjected to a thorough judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office. Investigators are continuing their investigations to determine all the fictitious accidents declared by the suspect during his interrogation, as well as the amount of undue sums received from the insurance companies. Accomplices involved in this new fraud technique are actively being sought.
Declaring false traffic accidents is a common practice in the Fez region. In total, 65 individuals involved in a case of this kind have been referred to justice in recent months.
