Father-in-Law Arrested for Rape as Young Mother Flees Marital Home in Morocco

A sexagenarian was incarcerated in the Oudaya prison by the Attorney General of the King near the Court of Appeal of Marrakech. He is accused of raping his daughter-in-law in the absence of his son.
It all started with the disappearance of a young woman, reports Al Massae. She left the marital home located in the Adouz douar, in the commune of Adouirane, with her five-month-old baby. The gendarmes’ investigations focused on the father-in-law and this proved decisive, as he quickly confessed during his interrogation.
In his statement, he admitted to being the cause of his daughter-in-law’s disappearance. According to him, she fled the marital home to put an end to the sexual assaults she was a victim of from him. Continuing their investigation, the victim was found at a relative’s place in the vicinity of Imintanout.
