Moroccan Man Kills Father-in-Law in Domestic Dispute Over Divorce Request

A son-in-law killed his father-in-law with a stone last Thursday in Azilal. He is accused of interfering in the dispute between him and his daughter.
The story goes back to last week, when the young woman, often a victim of domestic violence from her husband, decided to leave the marital home to join her parents and demand a divorce, reports Aujourd’hui le Maroc.
Informed, her husband tried to reconcile by going to his in-laws’ home.
The father-in-law, a 52-year-old law enforcement officer, openly confronted his son-in-law. From insults to insults, the situation escalated and the accused struck the victim on the head with a stone. After losing consciousness, he died a few moments later.
Once his death was confirmed, the defendant hastily fled.
