Fatal Collision in Rabat: Governor’s Son Among Two Killed in High-End Car Crash

A serious road accident that occurred on Saturday in Rabat caused the death of two people, including the son of the governor of Ouarzazate. The latter was accompanied by his brother who was seriously injured.
The accident occurred early Saturday morning in the Hassan district, not far from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The collision took place between two cars: a Bentley carrying the two sons of the governor, and an Audi with four people on board, reports Alyaoum 24.
One of the governor’s sons, as well as the driver of the Audi, died on the spot. Their bodies were transported to the morgue. As for the second son of the governor and the three other occupants of the Audi, including a girl, who were seriously injured, they were transferred to the Avicenne hospital.
The two cars are heavily damaged. The accident would have been caused by the Audi, which was driving at high speed in the wrong direction.
