Fatal Bus Collision in Casablanca Leaves 1 Dead, 4 Injured Near Major Station

A traffic accident that occurred on Tuesday in Casablanca left one dead and four injured, some in serious condition.
The tragedy occurred near the Ouled Ziane bus station after a collision between a bus carrying passengers and several cars, reports the MAP, citing a source from civil protection.
The accident claimed the life of a woman in her forties and injured four people. The fall of an electric pole was also reported.
Dispatched to the scene, the rescue services urgently transported the injured to the Mohamed Bouafi hospital, where the victim in serious condition succumbed to her injuries, the same source points out.
For now, the causes of the accident have not yet been determined. An investigation has been opened.
