Deadly Eid al-Adha Crash Near Kenitra Kills 3, Including Former MP’s Daughter

A tragic Eid al-Adha afternoon in Sidi Allal Tazi. A road accident caused the death of three people. Among them, the daughter of a businessman and former MP. Several injured are also deplored. Speed is the cause of this accident. According to witnesses on the spot, a thirty-year-old woman, daughter of a famous businessman in the region, elected deputy in the Ouezzane district, at the wheel of a luxury vehicle, was driving at high speed, and hit several cars and a motorcycle, reports the daily Al Akhbar. She died on the spot, and two injured people died on the way to the hospital.

Informed of the accident, the various security elements and rescue services went to the scene of the tragedy. Shortly afterwards, the luxury car caught fire. On their arrival, the firefighters managed to extinguish the fire and extricate the body of the young woman. After analyzing the technical data of the vehicle, the gendarmerie services confirmed that the driver was driving at around 200 km/h.

The Royal Gendarmerie services have opened an investigation to better elucidate the circumstances of this accident.
