Fake Knife Attack Video in Casablanca Leads to Three Arrests

A fake video incriminated has been circulating on instant messaging applications, prompting elements of the Casablanca Casablanca police prefecture to arrest, on Tuesday evening, three individuals for their direct involvement in the editing and publication of the images.
In the video, individuals armed with knives along with a fierce dog could be seen simulating a knife attack on an individual, who was even thrown into a septic tank, according to a statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).
The police elements initiated investigations and research that revealed that it was a hoax staged by individuals who intended to use it on YouTube for financial purposes, the statement continues.
Three of the accused were taken into custody for the investigation opened, to elucidate the ins and outs of this case and to arrest all the accomplices involved in this fictional crime that threatens the citizens’ sense of security, concludes the DGSN.
