Facebook Dominates Social Media Landscape in Morocco, Study Finds

Facebook remains the leading social network for Moroccan Internet users. This is revealed by a study conducted by Maroc numeric cluster and the opinion polling and survey firm, Averty.
77% of Moroccan Internet users say they use Facebook. This social network tops the ranking, followed far behind by Instagram (36%) (owned by Facebook), Snapchat (16.8%) and Linkedin (16.3%).
Maroc numeric cluster and the opinion polling and survey firm, Averty, conducted this study on digital channels in Morocco. The objective is to allow local companies to make optimal use of digital in building links with their targets.
As for the marketing use of social networks, the study report indicates that Facebook dominates the B2C sphere. According to the Social media marketing industry report, 75% of marketers have selected it as the most important network.
