Eurovision 2023: Moroccan-Origin Artists Represent France and Sweden in Liverpool Final

Two artists of Moroccan origin are participating in Eurovision 2023 taking place in Liverpool (host city), United Kingdom.

La Zarra and Loreen are the two singers of Moroccan origin participating in the 67th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. Born on August 25, 1997 in Montreal, the former represents France. She will perform Évidemment on stage during the grand final on Saturday, May 13. La Zarra, whose real name is Fatima Zahra Hafdi, is the second Canadian singer to represent France at Eurovision.

The latter was born in Sweden. She represents this country at Eurovision 2023. In 2012, Loreen, whose real name is Lorine Zineb Nora Talhaoui, had already represented Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest, which was held in Baku, Azerbaijan.
