Eurostars Hotels Apologizes for Racist Remarks Against Moroccan Soccer Team

The day after the insulting and racist remarks that the Moroccan football players were victims of at the Eurostars Madrid Tower, the hotel chain officially apologized to the Moroccan national football team and to Morocco, for these remarks which in no way represent "the company’s policy".
In addition to the photos highlighted by the Spanish media, there was also a video widely circulated on social media showing a waiter and a group of employees insulting the national team and their Muslim faith while some members of the Moroccan delegation were taking the suhoor (pre-dawn meal).
In a statement, The Hotusa Group, owner of Eurostars Hotels, presented its sincere apologies condemning "the unfortunate, miserable and unacceptable comments of a racist and xenophobic nature that are being circulated on social media and that offend the members of the Moroccan team staying at the Eurostars Madrid Tower".
"We emphasize that our company firmly rejects any type of discriminatory comments or behavior due to racial, ethnic or religious origin." The same statement adds that with regard to the content of the video, it "in no way expresses the sentiment of the hotel chain". The management stresses that "disciplinary measures have been taken against the person who disseminated the video".
