Hotel Employee Arrested for Racist Comments Against Moroccan Soccer Team in Madrid

A few hours after his racist remarks on Instagram against the Moroccan team in Madrid, the hotel employee was arrested by the police, we learn from the Spanish authorities.
Currently in Spain as part of the friendly match that will oppose them this Tuesday evening at the Metropolitano stadium in Madrid to Peru, the Moroccan delegation was the victim of racist remarks made by an employee of the hotel in which it is staying. Seized by the hotel management, the police proceeded to arrest the suspect.
It is a 27-year-old Spaniard who risks prosecution for hate crime, according to a spokeswoman for the municipal police. The Spanish media even published photos that had been posted by the employee on Instagram, showing several Moroccan players in the hotel restaurant. A photo accompanied by racist remarks.
Following the controversy and outrage that his publications caused, he deleted them and apologized online before being arrested by the police. On Monday at the pre-match press conference, the national coach declared that Islam is love by essence and that the Moroccan delegation has decided to "forgive" and not dwell on this incident.
