Europol Hunts Italian Tycoon Sentenced for Uncle's Murder, Suspected Fled to Morocco

Targeted by a European arrest warrant, Italian businessman Giacomo Bozzoli, sentenced to life imprisonment for the horrific murder of his uncle, is said to have fled to Morocco by boat from Spain.

Where is Giacomo Bozzoli? For the past few days, the carabinieri of the provincial command of Brescia, coordinated by Colonel Francesco Tocci, have been working to find him. The 39-year-old entrepreneur has disappeared without a trace, after learning of the final life sentence that the Court of Cassation had imposed on him for the murder of his uncle Mario, in the Marcheno foundry. He is said to have left his home in the province of Brescia on June 23 and traveled to various locations on Lake Garda, before heading to Marbella, a seaside resort in southern Spain. He had booked a hotel in the Iberian peninsula for a ten-day vacation with his partner and son. Before arriving in Marbella, he is said to have made a stopover in Cannes, probably to interrupt the trip, and in Valencia, to take his son to the aquarium as an early birthday present, as his birthday is coming up soon.

While his partner and 9-year-old son have returned to Soiano del Lago, in the province of Brescia, Bozzoli continues his flight. He is said to have fled to Morocco by boat from Spain. The carabinieri of the provincial command of Brescia are trying to pursue Bozzoli by monitoring the records of his documents, the images of the cameras that could capture him (even though it is not excluded that he has changed his appearance to avoid being identified) and the movements of his car, a Maserati Levante, which seems to have currently disappeared. For their part, the Arma soldiers are trying to reconstruct his friendships and connections abroad.
