Emirati-Backed Capital Mall Set to Transform Rabat’s Retail Landscape in 2025

A new shopping giant is about to make its entry into Rabat’s commercial landscape. The Capital Mall, carried by the Emirati group Bin Ham, is indeed about to be completed.
The work, launched less than two years ago in the Souissi district, shows an 80% progress rate. The inauguration is scheduled for the second half of 2025.
With its 22,000 square meters of built-up area and a thousand parking spaces, the Capital Mall is set to become a major player in commerce in the administrative capital. It will rank second among the shopping centers in Rabat, behind Arribat Center and its 45,500 m², recalls Challenge.
But the Capital Mall will not be limited to just shops. The complex will also house a 5-star hotel from the prestigious Hilton Luxury Brand chain. It will offer 168 rooms and suites, a 500-person reception hall, five international restaurants, a wellness area, an indoor garden, and a swimming pool. The hotel is scheduled to open in 2026.
This project marks the first steps of the Bin Ham group in Morocco. Founded in 1990 by Sheikh Musallum Salem Bin Ham, the Emirati group is a conglomerate with diversified activities: real estate, tourism, education, agriculture, construction, and electromechanics.
