The incident occurred in the Tizi n’Oulaoun area, at the boundary of the Telouet municipality, according to information reported by Hespress. This sector, located between the provinces of Al Haouz and Ouarzazate, is known for its particularly rugged terrain and its very harsh weather conditions at nightfall or dawn.

The Royal Gendarmerie and local teams braved very difficult mountainous terrain to locate the victims.
