New Electric Ferry to Cut Spain-Morocco Travel Time to 40 Minutes
In the coming months, the shipping company Balearia will put into service an electric ferry that will allow to connect Spain and Morocco in just over 40 minutes.
Balearia will deploy this electric ferry to serve the route between Algeciras (Cadiz) and Tangier in Morocco, reports La Vanguardia. With this electric and non-polluting ferry, the journeys between the two shores of the strait will last just over 40 minutes, we are assured.
This electric ferry is part of the company’s projects that want to bring changes in terms of sustainability. The arrival of these electric ferries will undoubtedly contribute to reducing the environmental impact compared to ferries using conventional fuel.
