Eid al-Adha 2026 Belgium Date Confirmed May 27
The date of the Festival of Sacrifice is now known for Muslims in Belgium. The national representative body has validated the religious calendar, scheduling this major event for the end of May 2026.
Following the opinion rendered by the Council of Theologians, the Executive of Muslims of Belgium (EMB) has confirmed the beginning of the sacred month of Dhul Hijja. With the first day of this 1447 H cycle starting tomorrow, the celebration of Eid al-Adha will therefore take place on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
