Ramadan 2026 Belgium: Official Start Date Set This Tuesday

The Council of Theologians, affiliated with the Executive of Muslims of Belgium, will meet this Tuesday, 17 February 2026, at 15:00. The videoconference aims to officially determine the start date of Ramadan for the country.
This virtual consultation will allow the representative bodies to settle the issue of the lunar calendar.
The decision will establish the first day of fasting for the entire Belgian Muslim community.
The first day of Ramadan in Belgium will be decided immediately afterward.
