Dutch Robbery Suspect Arrested at Tangier Airport on German Warrant

The police arrested on Tuesday at Tangier airport a Dutchman subject to an international arrest warrant issued by the German judicial authorities.
The suspect, a 33-year-old man, is allegedly linked to a criminal network active in armed robbery, according to a statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).
According to the preliminary investigation, the suspect, who is on the Interpol list and subject to a red notice issued by the German authorities, is suspected of having participated in thefts of sums of money exceeding 186,000 euros, from two automatic teller machines in Germany, the same source specifies.
Pending the extradition procedure, he was placed in detention and the news of his arrest was notified to the German authorities.
