Interpol-Wanted Nigerian Arrested in Morocco for Human Trafficking and Cybercrime

The police arrested on Sunday in Casablanca, a Nigerian under an international arrest warrant issued by the Spanish judicial authorities.
The suspect, a 42-year-old man, would be involved in a case related to the organization of illegal immigration and human trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation, according to a press release from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).
On the run in Morocco, the individual was also the subject of a search warrant issued by the judicial police of Oujda for attacks on electronic data processing systems and the use of false travel documents.
According to the initial elements of the investigation, the suspect, who is on Interpol’s wanted list and the subject of a red notice issued by the Spanish authorities, is wanted for illegal immigration to European countries, as well as the exploitation of candidates for this criminal activity within human trafficking and pimping networks and sexual exploitation, the same source specifies.
