Dutch Club RKC Waalwijk Eyes Barcelona B Defender Chadi Riad

The Dutch club RKC Waalwijk is showing strong interest in Chadi Riad, a young Moroccan defender playing for Barça B.
While his contract with FC Barcelona runs until 2024, his chances of accessing the first team seem compromised with the expected arrival of Inigo Martinez.
According to information reported by SPORT, FC Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez is specifically looking for a left-handed central defender, which motivates the Dutch club’s interest in the 19-year-old player.
However, Riad’s future remains uncertain, as it will depend on the performance of Barça Atletic, FC Barcelona’s reserve team. A possible promotion to Liga 2 from the Primera Division de la RFEF could allow the young player to continue his adventure with FC Barcelona, giving him the opportunity to play at a higher level.
