Drug-Related Shooting Near Tangier Leaves One Seriously Injured

This incident, which is part of a series of similar recent events in the region, took place on Wednesday night in Dar Chaoui and left one person seriously injured, once again highlighting the tensions related to international drug trafficking in the north of the country.

According to well-informed sources, an individual in a Golf 8 vehicle opened fire using a shotgun. The victim, a 25-year-old man, was seriously wounded. He was urgently taken care of and transported to the university hospital where he underwent a successful surgical intervention.

Following this attack, the Royal Gendarmerie immediately opened an investigation to shed light on the exact circumstances of the incident. Investigators have seized the bullet casings at the scene and are currently examining surveillance camera footage from the area to identify the shooter and his vehicle.
