Drug Kingpin’s Lavish Wedding Leads to Downfall: 51 Cases Unravel
Moussa "Falcon", the drug baron who became known to the general public for his involvement in the famous controversial wedding of Zeghanghane, was questioned on Friday on no less than 51 cases.
Targeted by dozens of national arrest warrants for cases related to the illegal drug trade, shootouts, and human trafficking, Moussa Falcon was apprehended on Tuesday, September 30, during a security operation described as strategic in Salé, thanks to the exploitation of precise information provided by the intelligence services. On Friday, he was presented before the Attorney General of the King of Nador and questioned on no less than 51 cases in which he would be involved. Once the interrogation was over, the suspect was placed in detention.
Moussa Falcon is known to the general public. His name was associated with the Zeghanghane wedding case organized last August. The celebration of this wedding turned into a series of documented offenses in sound and image. The videos published on social networks show a considerable display of wealth. The singers who entertained the evening were paid large sums. On the web, many Internet users denounced the laxity of the authorities and reproached them for having turned a blind eye to the offenses committed in the context of the wedding celebration.
