Cocaine Baron’s Lavish Wedding Sparks Outrage and Police Probe in Nador
The National Brigade of the Judicial Police is investigating the celebration of a lavish wedding that took place in the Zeghanghane region, under the province of Nador.
Masked men, luxury cars with crossed swords decorating the rear window in a show of force, dangerous use of hunting weapons in public roads. A lavish wedding party recently organized in the Zeghanghane region, under the province of Nador, has turned into a series of documented offenses in sound and image. The videos published on social networks show a considerable display of wealth. The singers who animated the evening were paid large sums.
Surprisingly, the groom, who was supposed to be the center of the celebration, is a well-known figure to the security services and is the subject of several national and international arrest warrants. He is one of the barons of cocaine smuggling in Spain. He appeared at the party in a fleeting manner, masked, but did not stay until the end of the celebration.
These scenes of panic, fear, and display of luxury have prompted the National Brigade of the Judicial Police to intervene to open and deepen the investigation. In addition to the participants in the scenes of disorder, the investigation also targets security officials, from the gendarmerie or the police. They would have shown negligence or turned a blind eye to these offenses that occurred in their territorial jurisdiction.
