Donkey Skulls Found in Meknes Trash Bin Spark Investigation

A macabre discovery has put the authorities of Meknes on alert. Two donkey skulls were found in a garbage bin in the Riyad Zitoun neighborhood, raising the concern of local residents and authorities.
Alerted by passers-by, the judicial police and forensic science technicians quickly went to the scene to begin the investigations. The origin of the skulls, the identity of those responsible for this act, and the fate of the animals’ meat remain to be determined.
This mystery comes in a context marked by similar incidents, particularly in Casablanca, reinforcing questions about the provenance of these remains. The residential neighborhood of Riyad Zitoun, where the Swika Marjane is located, is equipped with numerous surveillance cameras that could provide valuable clues to the investigators.
This case recalls a previous incident that occurred last year in Meknes, where donkey remains had been discovered in the Fakhkharine neighborhood.
