Death of Sion Assidon: the public prosecutor’s office reveals the results of the autopsy
The Casablanca public prosecutor’s office communicated this Saturday, November 8, the official causes of the death of the activist Sion Assidon, which occurred the day before. An autopsy was ordered as part of the investigation supervised by the Attorney General of the King, in order to determine the exact circumstances of his death.
The press release states that the autopsy was entrusted to a tripartite medical commission. According to the results of this expertise, the death is "secondary to infectious complications (Sepsis) of a head trauma". The examination revealed "cerebro-meningeal hemorrhages, cerebral contusions and a skull fracture".
The hypothesis of a fall from a ladder favored
These medical conclusions corroborate the first elements of the investigation, which had begun on August 19, 2025. On that date, Mr. Assidon had been found unconscious at his home before being hospitalized.
The public prosecutor’s office emphasizes that the results of the autopsy are consistent with the hypothesis favored since the beginning: "a fall of the deceased from a ladder while he was doing gardening work". The Attorney General of the King indicated that he will ensure that the appropriate legal decision is made upon completion of the investigation.
