Deadly Fishing Boat Tragedy: 4 Dead, 7 Missing Off Moroccan Coast

4 dead and 7 missing off the coast of Tarfaya. This is the sad toll of this Thursday, December 31, mourned by the sinking of a traditional fishing boat with 14 fishermen on board.
The boat sank under the effect of giant waves as soon as it left the port of Tarfaya, according to information reported by the local authorities of the province.
Alerted, the competent services intervened. This quick reaction made it possible to save three sailors who were immediately transferred to the emergency room of the Tarfaya health center. The bodies of the four deceased people were recovered for transfer to the morgue of the province.
While the search continues to find the other people who were on board the boat, an investigation has been opened to determine the circumstances of this tragedy that will have undermined the atmosphere of the beginning of the New Year in this small coastal town.
