Deadly 20-Car Pileup on Rabat-Kénitra Highway Leaves 1 Dead, Dozens Injured

A collision of about twenty vehicles this Sunday on the highway connecting Rabat to Kénitra, near the commune of Sidi Taibi, left at least one dead and about forty injured.
According to the MAP, the local authorities and elements of the Royal Gendarmerie quickly went to the scene. They were also accompanied by the Civil Protection, which ensured the transfer of the injured to the El Idrissi hospital in Kénitra to receive the necessary care.
The circumstances of this tragedy, which will have to be clarified by an investigation that has just been opened by the gendarmerie services, are not yet known.
