Multi-Vehicle Crash on Morocco’s National Road Leaves 13 Injured, 10 Critical

Several people were seriously injured following a pile-up that occurred on Tuesday on the National Road N1 Zaouiat Sidi Smail in the province of Sidi Bennour.
According to the details provided by the regional command of the civil protection of Casablanca-Settat, the accident occurred at the level of Douar Foutha in the rural commune of Saniat Berguig. A total of thirteen people were injured, including 10 in serious condition.
To evacuate the injured to the local hospital in Zemamra, three ambulances were mobilized. This pile-up raises the eternal question of compliance with the Highway Code and the need for users to be patient, especially when it involves the safety of other people.
