Fatal Crash Near Rabat: 3 Dead in Illegal Transport Vehicle Accident

Three people who had taken an illegal transport vehicle died in an accident near Témara. Several injured were also recorded.
Another tragedy on the national roads. The accident was caused by a tire burst, which caused the vehicle to overturn, reports the daily Al Akhbar, specifying that two civil servants and an auxiliary forces agent were killed on the spot, while three other people were seriously injured.
According to the preliminary police investigation at the scene, the driver, who emerged unscathed from the accident, operates illegally, without any authorization, using a car resembling those of taxi license holders.
The latter was arrested and held in custody for the purposes of the in-depth investigation, adds the same source, noting that the phenomenon of illegal transport has taken on alarming proportions on this axis connecting Tamesna to Rabat.
Taking advantage of the transport crisis on this axis, illegal drivers endanger the lives of citizens who are forced to resort to their services, deplores the newspaper.
