UN Peacekeepers Injured in Vehicle Accident in Western Sahara

A MINURSO vehicle was involved Wednesday evening in an accident that occurred after the vehicle overturned in which the blue helmets were traveling.
The accident occurred near Aousserd, 200 km southeast of the city of Dakhla. The two injured officers were transported by a MINURSO helicopter to the military hospital in Laâyoune.
The injuries of the officers, both from South Asia, are minor.
