Danish Furniture Giant Jysk to Enter Moroccan Market in 2025

Morocco is about to welcome a new giant in the furniture industry. Jysk, the Danish chain known for its furniture, bedding and home decor items, is set to arrive in the kingdom soon.
As early as April 2025, Moroccans will be able to find an alternative to Kitea or Ikea and discover the products of the brand, which is thus pursuing its international expansion, reports Barlamane.
This strategic choice is explained by the solid growth that Jysk is experiencing. The company has recently published strong financial results. Its turnover reached 5.6 billion euros, an increase of 7.6%, the same source specifies.
With already 3,400 stores spread across 48 countries, Jysk is betting on the dynamism of the Moroccan market to continue its development. The arrival of this new player should intensify competition in the furniture sector in Morocco, where Ikea is often criticized for the large price difference with European countries.
