A dangerous prisoner fled, on Thursday, from the Ibn Bajja hospital in Taza, causing panic in the psychiatric ward where he was admitted.
The escape of this "dangerous prisoner", who killed his father under rather murky circumstances, resulted in a general and unusual alert within the hospital.
The defendant, "under judicial supervision", suffered from serious mental disorders and had been admitted to the mental health services for this sordid crime he committed, Hespress reported.
Taking advantage of a moment of inattention from the surveillance service, the accused escaped.
An investigation has been opened and the search is ongoing to apprehend this fugitive prisoner.
