A man of Moroccan origin residing in Spain, wanted for homicide and sexual offenses in Belgium, was apprehended this Tuesday morning at the maritime station of Ceuta. He was about to board a ferry to the peninsula with his vehicle.
The arrest of this individual, described as dangerous and armed by the police, occurred during the verification of his identity at the time of boarding.
He was identified thanks to a consultation of the police database which revealed an arrest warrant for extradition issued by the Belgian authorities. The Moroccan was then arrested by the police on duty at the port.
