Dakhla Police Bust Violent Theft Ring, Seize Weapons and Stolen Goods

Three members of a criminal gang were arrested by the police in Dakhla. They are accused of violent thefts under the threat of bladed weapons.
"The defendants, aged between 23 and 26 and with multiple criminal records, were arrested on the basis of the results of investigations following the reporting of their criminal activity to the security services," says the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) in a statement released by the MAP.
"The searches carried out by the judicial police in the suspects’ homes allowed the seizure of several bladed weapons, clothing, computer equipment and mobile phones that would be the loot of the thefts committed," the police said, announcing their placement in custody and their upcoming appearance in court.
Further investigations are underway to try to apprehend any possible accomplices, it is also indicated.
