Customs Seize 1-Kilo Gold Artifact at Casablanca Airport

A Moroccan national, arriving on an international flight, was apprehended on Wednesday, March 4 evening, at the Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca.
During the passenger control operation, the Moroccan customs agents found an antique gold piece weighing one kilo.
According to the statements of the customs services at the airport, the object was seized and sent for expertise, in order to determine its historical and financial value.
The operation is part of the efforts made by the customs administration to protect the world heritage.
